GITEGA October 11th (ABP) – The leader of the Forum of political parties (FDP), Mr. Félicien Nduwuburundi, underlined on October 8, 2021, in Gitega (central Burundi) that the leaders of the political parties have honored the commitment of making effective the strengthening of peaceful cohabitation between themselves and between their activists. They also engaged their activists in carrying out community development work.

This was said at the end of a meeting to assess the commitments made by the aforementioned leaders, at Bugarama, on March 23, 2021.

Mr. Nduwuburundi indicated that the same leaders have resolved, in that meeting, to ensure that the beautiful image already engaged is better and better. However, they recommended to the FDP to increase the costs of their support on a work mission. “These mission expenses hardly cover basic needs such as travel, accommodation and catering,” they said as a means of claiming the treatment at their fair value.

The assistant to the Minister of the Interior, Community Development and Public Security, Mr. Datus Nyandwi, replied that he took note of that recommendation, promising to forward it to his hierarchical authority.
