KIRUNDO September 21st (ABP) –As part of supporting education, the Minister of National Defense and Veterans Affairs, Alain Tribert Mutabazi, distributed on Saturday September 18, 2021 in his home town of Ntega in the province Kirundo (northern Burundi), school materials for 200 children from destitute families in the same commune, including those from the Batwa community, it was noted on the spot. That material consisted of notebooks, pens, pencils and erasers as well as soccer balls given to the Ntega communal management in order to encourage games at the various schools. He warmly thanked the company Tanganyika Minerals Ltd which provided that school material and took the opportunity to ask other partners to support education.

Minister Mutabazi made this gesture before sitting on the Ntega municipal council of which he is a member, to elect the new administrator. It should be noted that the minister in charge of defense also participated last week in community development works in the communes of Bugabira and Busoni.
