NGOZI August 29th (ABP) – The CNDD-FDD party organized, on Thursday August 26, 2021, in the premises of the Buntu Foundation located in Buye in Mwumba commune, an ecumenical prayer to give thanks to the Almighty who continues to watch over the Burundi.
It is a prayer organized every last Thursday of the month. On that occasion, the Head of State, Evariste Ndayishimiye, who is also chairman of the CNDD-FDD party’s committee of elders, took the opportunity to let it be known that this party has reserved the first place for the Almighty. Indeed, underlined President Ndayishimiye, the Almighty responds favorably to all the requests of that party in power. He recognized that God remains the sovereign of Burundi, the reason is why he grants him all the gratitude.
He promised unconditional respect to God before whom he took an oath.
That prayer was organized on the sidelines of the meeting which brought together, for two days, the senior national officials of the said party to assess the achievements of the latter, a year after its victory in the 2020 elections. It was also according to the secretary General of the CNDD-FDD party, Révérien Ndikuriyo, to work out together the future prospects for the harmonious development of Burundi.
