MAKAMBA August 9th (ABP) – About 122 Burundian households from the refugee camps in Tanzania made up of 392 people were welcomed on Thursday August 5, 2021 at the Gitara transit center in Mabanda commune. Those Burundians come from the provinces of Makamba, Rutana, Rumonge, Ruyigi, Gitega, Bujumbura and Cankuzo. According to the repatriation branch manager in Makamba, Mr. Emmanuel de Monfort Ndayiragije, they had to be transported to their respective communes from Saturday, August 7.
