GITEGA June 10th (ABP) – Burundi Head of State Evariste Ndayishimiye chaired the Cabinet Meeting on June 9, 2021 with 9 items on the agenda.
The first item concerns the Bill on the status of officers of the National Police of Burundi. The second one concerns the Bill on the status of brigadiers of the National Police of Burundi. The third concerns the Bill relating to the status of agents of the National Police of Burundi. The fourth item is the Bill regulating immigration and emigration in Burundi. Those four items were presented by the Minister of the Interior, Community Development and Public Security.
The 5th item concerns the Draft decree revising decree number 100/181 of 11 August 2014 on the missions, reorganization and operation of the Insurance Regulatory and Control Agency (ARCA). That item was presented by the Minister of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning.
The 6th item is the draft decree on the missions, organization and functioning of the National Commission for Basic and Post Basic Education. The 7th is the Draft decree revising decree number 100/06 of January 12, 2015 establishing and organizing the Graduate School in Burundi. Those last 2 items were presented by the Minister of National Education and Scientific Research.
The 8th item concerns the Roadmap for the implementation of the Rehabilitation, Modernization and Extension Project of the Moso Sugar Company (SOSUMO). It was presented by the Minister of the Environment, Agriculture and Livestock.
The 9th item concerns miscellaneous items.
