The RANAC party has set up the new bodies of the province of Bujumbura, in accordance with the new law on administrative reorganisation

BUJUMBURA, May 29th (ABP) – The National Coalition for Change (RANAC) party held a meeting on Sunday 26 May 2024 in Bujumbura city, during which the party’s representatives in the former provinces of Bubanza, Bujumbura, Cibitoke and Bujumbura city met to set up the new organs of the new province of Bujumbura, in accordance with the new law organising the zones, communes and provinces.

During that meeting, they also analysed how the RANAC party can contribute to improving the life of the Burundian nation by putting forward suggestions for overcoming the economic crisis in which Burundi is immersed.

The RANAC Chairman, Aloys Baricako, indicated that the RANAC party is currently alone and not in a coalition.

He also added that RANAC has full confidence in the Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI), given that it is made up of people who have played an important role in our country”, he said.

He did not fail to point out that his party welcomes the measures taken by the President of the Republic to put an end to the illegal trade in coffee and tea.
