The Speaker of the National Assembly has flown to Zambia

BUJUMBURA, April 16th (ABP) – The Speaker of the National Assembly, Daniel Gélase Ndabirabe, took the plane in the afternoon of Monday, 15 April 2024, bound for Livingstone, in the Republic of Zambia, to take part in the conference of presidents and the plenary assembly of the forum of parliaments of the member countries of the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region, ICGLR.

Before his departure, he told the media that the purpose of the conference was to assess the report on the activities of the outgoing Secretary General, who had just completed his term of office, with a view to electing a new one. It will also be a good opportunity to put in place the action plan for the activities that will follow, he added.
