KAYANZA, January 11 (ABP) – The governor of Kayanza province (north) brought together, on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, in the provincial office hall, communal administrators and heads of provincial services, with a view to discussing the overall situation of Kayanza province. Cases of theft of used construction materials were mentioned by every speaker and the temporary decision was to suspend the collection of this type of material, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.
During the meeting, they were pleased that the year 2023 was generally good as all areas showed good results. He called on administrative officials at different levels to rehabilitate roads and evacuate earth embankments in the roads with a view to welcoming more visitors.
As for the heads of provincial services, as well as other intellectuals, he urged them to invest in agriculture to contribute to the increase in production, without ignoring the fight against fraud and usury because this hinders in one way or another the national economy.
