The SFBSP organization helps victims of torrential rain and violent winds in Kirundo commune

The beneficiaries come from 12 villages of the Kirundo commune. Those kits consisted of tarpaulins, blankets, buckets and soap. The delegate of SFBSP-Burundi, Mrs. Belyse Nininahazwe, indicated that that organization has set itself the objective of supporting the government of Burundi in its projects to ensure the well-being of the population and assist victims of disasters. hence, she underlined, the granting of those kits to those vulnerable people. She asked those beneficiaries not to think about selling those materials, but rather to use them at home.

The administrator of the Kirundo commune, Mr. Viateur Habimana warmly thanked that organization, specifying that that is not the first time that it has shown its involvement in the development of that commune. He took the opportunity to ask those responsible for SFBSP-Burundi to continue to support that commune, even in other sectors, to achieve sustainable and inclusive development.
