Handover ceremonies between the incoming and outgoing governor

MURAMVYA October 19th (ABP ) – The ceremonies linked to the handover and resumption between the incoming governor of Muramvya province, Ephraïm Ndikumasabo and the outgoing governor, Diomède Nzambimana took place on October 16, 2023

Mr. Nzambimana indicated that he left nearly 63 million Burundian francs in the three accounts of Muramvya province, including more than 60 million in the stadium construction account.

Among the projects currently being carried out, he hinted to his successor the work linked to the construction of the royal stadium, the rehabilitation work of the interior of the governor’s office and its surroundings as well as the construction of the infrastructure which will house the breeding of rabbits in accordance with Government injunctions.

As for the new governor of the province, Mr. Ndikumasabo praised the achievements of the outgoing governor, affirming that he too participated in those achievements because he was one of the communal administrators under the command of the outgoing governor.

The incoming governor said he will be a good family man in the line of duty. He nevertheless asked the population of Muramvya for support accompanied by good works related to the development of Muramvya province.
