BUJUMBURA October 16th (ABP) – The Burundi Prime Minister Gervais Ndirakobuca received an audience on Thursday; on October 12, 2023, the President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Burundi-Rwanda and Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo Mission, Mr. Mavinga.
At the end of the audience, Mr. Mavinga said that they discussed the expression of their recognition for the support that the Prime Minister provides to the church, so that it has the possibility of operating fully on Burundian territory.
Furthermore, he continued, their discussions also focused on the future development projects of this church in Burundi.
On this occasion, Mr. Mavinga indicated that the first mission of this church is to help people come to Jesus Christ, adding that it works with certain humanitarian works in the autonomy program to allow Christians to be able to take charge.
