MURAMVYA April 19th (ABP) – The Vice-President of the Republic of Burundi, Prosper Bazombanza, joined on Saturday, April 15, 2023, the people of Gaharo village, in the works of mixing concrete and paving a classroom under construction at ECOFO Gaharo I in Bukeye commune in Muramvya province (center-west), a check on the site ABP has revealed.
In his speech addressed to the people after the works, Mr. Bazombanza sensitized young people to love school training for the Burundi of tomorrow. He also warned the directors of schools who inflate the number of school dropouts to force the government to give too many subsidies, they will be severely punished in accordance with the law, he hammered.
He took that opportunity to thank anyone helping with the development work. The source of the development, according to him, is from the increase in production, which means that from Monday to Sunday, no one is asked to stay in bed being fit except for the sick, a- he added.
He called on everyone to get up early every day to go about their daily chores, whether they are farmers, whether they are going to cultivate more. Once he raises a cow, pig or other animal, he should closely monitor his animals to ensure they are well cared for and fed, he advised to motivate increased production in all sectors.
He nevertheless pointed the finger at those who violate the current law of permanent stabling. The Vice-President of the Republic also recommended the maintenance of the roads to promote the traffic of goods and people because the road is an irreplaceable asset, hence it is necessary to prevent the roads from being damaged, he said.
Note that Mr. Bazombanza took the opportunity to ask the people to maximize the promotion of export crops such as tea and coffee to bring in foreign currency into the country and to be able to buy foreign goods.
