MAKAMBA April 5th (ABP) – 19 people were evacuated to Nyanza-Lac district hospital in the evening of Monday, April 3, 2023, after an accident involving a Coaster-type bus that overturned in Lake Tanganyika, at Rubindi hill, Mukungu zone of Nyanza-Lac commune.
Information collected at Nyanza-Lac in the morning of 4 April indicates that ten people are hospitalized, eight have been treated and released while a girl died en route to hospital.
It was said that the crossing of domestic animals in the road, would be at the origin of the accident.
