BUJUMBURA March 1st (ABP) – El Shaddai Church of Bujumbura, in close collaboration with MINEVAM Kigobe, Free Methodist, City of Living God (CLG), KARPOS, and Glory Outreach Assembly (GOA) churches, is home from February 27 to March 5, 2023, in its premises located in Kabondo Ouest, to the first conference on the unity of the body of Christ in the diversity of church gifts. It was revealed during a press conference held on February 26, 2023 by the pastor of the El Shaddai church, Mr. Eric Ndayikengurukiye.

According to Pastor Ndayikengurukiye, that conference called “EHAD CONFERENCE” (EHAD: Hebrew word which means ‘plural unity’), is part of a long-term vision in which the churches, as the Body of Christ, work in the unity and cooperate in diversity because, he said, all believers need to benefit from those divine gifts existing in the different churches of Burundi.

He told the press that this conference bears witness to the unity that already exists between certain churches working in Burundi, pointing out, to that end, that as many churches as possible were invited to join the six churches that organized the conference, in order to put together their gifts for the edification of the church.

Pastor Ndayikengurukiye also stressed that this conference will be organized periodically on different and varied themes for the edification of the church in the manifestation of the power of the gospel and the glory of Christ.

Thus, nine themes will be discussed and presented by nine servants of God from different churches. Pastor Aimé Ninganza of the MINEVAM church has to speak on the theme “Service and sacrifice”, Pastor Jean Claude Makaka of the KARPOS church on the theme “Watch over your heart against all sexual immortality, pride and greed “, Bishop Déo Nshimiyimana of the Free Methodist Church on the theme “How to protect the reputation of Jesus Christ and his church? and CLG Church Apostle Kevin Sibomana has to speak on “Corporate Spirit in Spiritual Revival.”

Pastor Franck Pecastaing of the Assemblies of God church has to address the theme “Conflict management: how to maintain the bond of peace?” “, while Pastor Lopez Nininahazwe will speak on the theme “The voice of the Church resounding with praise and worship”. Finally, Bishop Félicien Ndayizeye of the GOA Church will develop the theme “The march towards spiritual awakening”, while Pastor Ndayikengurukiye and Pastor Zabron Nshimirimana have to coordinate the conference in prayer for the manifestation of the power of the gospel and of the glory of God.

He has, for all practical purposes, let it be known that the conference will be broadcast live on the Facebook account of the El Shaddai church of Bujumbura and on Destiny FM radio station broadcasting on 90.5 MHz in the City Council of Bujumbura and its surroundings and 89.4 MHz in the interior of the country.

Note that this conference will last one week. For working days, it will start at 5:30 p.m. and end at 8:00 p.m., while for Saturday and Sunday, it will start at 4:00 p.m. and finally end at 7:00 p.m.
