The Head of State will take part in the work of the 36th Ordinary Summit of AU Heads of State

BUJUMBURA February 16th (ABP) – The Head of State and current Chairperson of the East African Community (EAC), Evariste Ndayishimiye, accompanied by his Better Half, Mrs. Angeline Ndayishimiye, took the plane on Wednesday15 February 2023, to Addis Ababa in the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, where he will take part in the work of the 36th Ordinary Summit of Heads of State of the African Union (AU), which will take place from February 18 to 19, 2023.

On the sidelines of that Summit, President Ndayishimiye will participate in several high-level meetings, as specified by the Office in charge of Information, Communication and Spokespersonship at the Presidency of the Republic, through a press release.

Thus, the press release continues to inform, President Ndayishimiye is the guest of honor of the first Public Assembly of young people within the AU, scheduled for Thursday, February 16, 2023.

For her part, the First Lady of the country, Angeline Ndayishimiye, will take part in the 27th Ordinary Assembly of the Organization of African First Ladies for Development (OPDAD), scheduled for February 15 to 19, 2023, press release has revealed.
