BUJUMBURA November 15th (ABP) – The President of the Republic of Burundi, Evariste Ndayishimiye received in audience on Monday, November 14, 2022, Gateka Perry-Saxe, creator of the social media “Gasape Social Media”.
The Deputy Spokesperson for the President of the Republic, Mrs. Doriane Munezero, told the media that the President of the Republic gave him his support, encouraging all the other actors to facilitate the process for young entrepreneurs especially in the digital sector.
To show his support, the President of the Republic began to use the social media to set an example for other young people for their subscription. He called on other institutions working in the sector of information technology to provide technical and legal support to young entrepreneurs by facilitating their access to the various access platforms.
At a time when the social media is not yet on the Play store platform, which gives access to this media, Mr. Gateka informed the young people that it is possible to subscribe to this social media through Google chrome by entering the search engine www.gasape.com, indicating that the innovation is that the media can be consulted in the national language, adding that the social media is secure and that one cannot lose his/her data or be hacked. That social media has been created a year ago.
Mr. Gateka is also the founder of Humuriza radio station.
