Nine items were on the agenda of the Cabinet Meeting

BUJUMBURA July 21st (ABP) – The President of the Republic of Burundi, Mr. Evariste Ndayishimiye chaired on Wednesday July 20, 2022 at Ntare Rushatsi House, a Cabinet Meeting with nine items on the agenda.

The first item concerns the report of the commission responsible for analyzing battle orders and the rational management of human resources.

The second item concerns the file relating to the construction project of a shopping center including the concession agreement for the land of the former central market of Bujumbura, the draft decree granting concession of land to the company “Mukaza Business Center”, the draft decree authorizing the State of Burundi to participate in the share capital of the company “Mukaza Business Center”, a shareholders’ agreement of the company “Mukaza Business Center”, all to be presented by the services of the Prime Minister .

The third item is the draft decree on the missions, organization and functioning of the rail transport regulatory authority in Burundi.

The draft decree on declaration of the public utility of land intended to accommodate railway infrastructure is the fourth item.

Other items include the summary report on the reactions of the occupants of the Maramvya zone after the publication of the results of the report of the joint commission relating to the management of that zone, a note on the construction of regional sheds and a note on the challenges related to the lack of veterinarians and specialists in animal production as well as proposed solutions.

The note on the reform of the national social dialogue committee (CNDS) and the expenditure commitment ceilings for the first quarter of 2022-2023 is also on the agenda.
