MWARO February 23rd (ABP) – The President of the Republic of Burundi, Mr. Evariste Ndayishimiye, accompanied by his better half, Mrs. Angéline Ndayishimiye, harvested on Monday, February 21st, 2022, the potatoes grown in their field located on the Matongo hill in Ndava commune of Mwaro province (central Burundi).
Note that this activity of harvesting potatoes belonging to the presidential family saw the participation of the governor of Mwaro province, communal administrators and certain heads of provincial services as well as the provincial secretary of the ruling party.
