KIRUNDO January 18th (ABP) – The presidential family paid a visit on Saturday January 15, 2022 to the tourist sites of Lake Rwihinda, commonly known as “Bird Lake” and Kigozi on the shores of Lake Cohoha, where there is a home of the sisters “Bene Tereza” all of the commune and province of Kirundo (North of Burundi), a check on the site by ABP has revealed.

On Lake Rwihinda, being in the launches of the navy, the presidential family visited the islet often frequented by migratory birds from Europe, while on the shores of Lake Cohoha, they spent nearly an hour to feel the beautiful air of that lake.

That family did not forget to go to the center of the missionaries of charity Mother Teresa of Calcutta, where the presidential family granted aid consisting of food and non-food items, knowing that this center accommodates small orphaned children and vulnerable elderly people.
