The ABP journalist Bede Ntakibirora is no longer of this world

BUJUMBURA October 25th (ABP) – The Burundi News Agency (ABP) has learned with dismay of the death of its employee who occupied the position of provincial correspondent in Mwaro, Mr. Bède Ntakibirora, which occurred on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 in the Prince Louis Rwagasore hospital. The late Ntakibirora was born in 1963 in Ijenda, in Mugongomanga commune of Bujumbura province. He was married to Mrs. Consolatte Ndayizeye. After general humanities, the late Ntakibirora attended the school of journalism where he obtained a level II diploma in journalism on June 21, 1991. From August 22, 1991, he was ABP correspondent in Karusi until to March 16, 1994 when he was posted to Kirundo. On December 9, 1999, the late Ntakibirora was assigned to Bujumbura province to occupy the same position of provincial correspondent of this agency. From June 1, 2017 until the day of his disappearance, he held the same position of provincial correspondent in Mwaro. He leaves behind a wife and five children. The ABP extends its deepest condolences especially to the wife and children of the late Bède Ntakibirora and to his biological family in general.
