The Head of State has participated in the meeting of senior officials of the CNDD-FDD party

NGOZI August 27th (ABP) – The secretary general of the CNDD-FDD party, Mr. Révérien Ndikuriyo, opened on Thursday, August 26, at the Buntu hotel in Buye in Mwumba commune of Ngozi province (northern Burundi), a two-day meeting bringing together senior national officials of the said party, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.

That meeting was attended by the Burundian Head of State and President of the CNDD-FDD Council of Elders, Mr. Evariste Ndayishimiye.

In his remarks, Mr. Ndikuriyo said that the meeting is an extension of the activities that the militants of his party have assigned to him.

These CNDD-FDD meetings are held after those of March 9 and 10, 2018 in Ngozi which defined the new orientations of the party with a view to its strengthening.

The meeting is being held in the wake of the CNDD-FDD party’s victory in the 2020 elections which resulted in the formation of the “responsible and hard-working” government, which is now working to move the country forward.

The secretary general of the CNDD-FDD said that this is an opportunity to assess the activities already carried out after more than a year of victory and to focus on the prospects for the future. He asked the militants of his party to always put forward the prayer for the party and for the country, the humility and the positive values ​​which have always characterized Burundi.

A prayer of thanksgiving was scheduled for Thursday afternoon to be held at Rukundo Stadium in Buye.
