MURAMVYA January 26th (ABP) – 72 post-basic finalists from Muramvya High School received their certificates on Sunday, January 23, 2022.
In his speech, the Principal of Muramvya High School, Abbot Richard Habarugira said that this certificate presentation activity was organized when Muramvya High School is two years away from celebrating the Golden Jubilee. He indicated that several personalities have done everything so that the school for which he is responsible can have the current image.
Father Habarugira cited the former directors and their collaborators, the educators, the parents and even the students, not forgetting the friends of the Lycée de Muramvya.
Among the friends of that school, he warmly thanked the German missionary, Father Klaus Buyel who continues to support the Muramvya high school which he directed in the past.
Regarding the preparations for the Golden Jubilee in two years, he pointed out that concerted efforts are planned for the infrastructure to be renovated before the celebration.
In the Mass which preceded the ceremonies for the awarding of certificates to the 72 finalists of the post fundamental of Muramvya High School, Father Eddy Kwizera, diocesan supervisor of schools under Catholic convention in the Archdiocese of Bujumbura who presided over the mass, formulated a lot of advice going in the direction of reminding the recipients of the certificates that many stakeholders have done their best to get them to take this step.
The diocesan supervisor asked them to always ensure their respect to God and to the parents who gave them life and the ability to study.
The provincial director of education, Mrs. Cassilde Ndayisenga, positively appreciated the activities of the management of Muramvya high school, especially the arrival of the director Abbot Richard Habarugira who, according to the DPE Muramvya, spares no effort for the smooth running of the school activities.
After formulating a series of advice before the actual presentation of the certificates, Mrs. Ndayisenga announced that girls who do not dress appropriately will not publicly receive their certificates. Thus, three of the certified girls were refused to receive their certificates following intolerable attire, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.
