RUMONGE, July 4th (ABP) – The Commune of Rumonge has completed a series of projects in various sectors, according to a meeting held last Thursday to present the results of the first half of the year and plans for the future.
The administrator of the commune of Rumonge, Augustin Minani, reported that 43 classrooms had been built in the education sector. Capacity-building sessions have been organized for school principals. A joint commission has been set up to identify the challenges facing the education sector.
In the health sector, the local authority has built maternity wards in Mwange, Kibasha and Gitwe health centers in collaboration with the local population.
In the area of infrastructure, the community has supported the construction of office floors in the Minago and Buruhukiro areas. It also plans to support other areas.
Other infrastructure projects include the rehabilitation of housing for local police officers and the Mugerangabo culvert.
