GITEGA, January 4th (ABP) – Burundi Head of State Evariste Ndayishimiye chaired on Wednesday January 3, 2024, in Gitega, the Cabinet meeting with five items on the agenda.
This is the draft decree harmonizing the method of advancement in grades, bonuses, compensation and title enhancements in public institutions with special bylaws. This draft decree was presented by the Minister of Civil Service, Labor and Employment, Mr. Vénuste Muyabaga.
In turn, the Minister of Hydraulics, Energy and Mines, Mr. Ibrahim Uwizeye, presented two draft decrees, namely the draft decree relating to the missions, organization and functioning of the Ministry of Hydraulics, Energy and Mines; as well as the draft decree establishing the bylaws of the of Burundi Oil Company.
The Minister of Commerce, Transport, Industry and Tourism, Mrs. Marie Chantal Nijimbere, presented the public-private partnership project between the State of Burundi and the N-SOFT and B-DIGITAL CONTROL consortium, on the optimization of revenues from gambles, coupled with the draft joint ministerial order establishing the modalities for collecting royalties collected in the context of the operation of gambles. Note that the fifth item concerns the miscellaneous matters.
