MURAMVYA October 27th (ABP) – The Head of State, Evariste Ndayishimiye, proceeded on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, to presentation of the new governor of Muramvya province, Mr. Ephrem Ndikumasabo. President Ndayishimiye took his time to give lessons aimed at changing everyone’s mentality with a view to sustainable development. He called on administrative officials, in particular, and the people, in general, to tackle the fight against corruption and non-respect of the rights of those under control. He asked everyone to emphasize work because, according to him, God also said “he will bless the works of your hands”.

He provided advice to that new governor and to all administrative staff, in general, regarding the appropriate behavior that should characterize a good leader.

According to him, a good leader must be able to listen to advice wherever it comes. It must be the guarantor of development in all sectors of the life of the population within its jurisdiction. A good leader must also be aware of the challenges that haunt the community, serve as an example by investing in development work, must be faithful to his specifications and implement the promises he has kept at the end. population, upon taking office.

He must also, according to the Head of State, accept the sharing of responsibilities with his collaborators. A good leader must avoid jealousy, injustice and making important decisions based on unverified information or rumors, he insisted.

The new governor, for his part, declared that among the issues awaiting him is that of uniting the people of Muramvya, from the base to the top to then combine their efforts and tackle development work hand in hand. of the province, which is currently part of the new Gitega province, according to the new administrative division.
