MAKAMBA June 5th (ABP) – The assistant to the Minister of Justice, Mrs. Virginie Havugiyaremye, asks the people to register their land in the title deed management and the national cadastre to reduce the disputes observed and to have loans for the family self-financing. She made that appeal on Thursday, June 1, 2023, in Makamba, during the official launch and opening ceremonies of the land constituency and cadastre of Makamba, a check on the site by ABP has revealed. Mrs. Havugiyaremye said that land registration is the pillar of sustainable development and strengthening social security. She thanked the partners, in this case the UNDP and ZOA, who supported the title deed and national cadastre management to open that land constituency and the cadastre of Makamba which will serve the people of the southern region.

In his welcoming address, the governor of Makamba province, Mrs. Françoise Ngozirazana, indicated that land disputes are a handicap to development because many people spend time in courts and tribunals. Mrs. Ngozirazana indicated that the title deed service of Makamba will allow people to have guarantees from banks to access loans.
