BURURI May 26th (ABP) – The provincial administration of Bururi proceeded on Thursday to a dismissal of 61 people who were imprisoned in the police cell of Bururi after recent security disturbances, especially in Bururi commune. Juvent Ndayikeza, the governor’s chief of staff, indicated that those people are sent back to their native communes to look for a document issued by the village leader, attesting that such a person is a native of such a village. The communal administrator will also put his/her signature on the document, and the president of the court of residence will recognize that he is not being prosecuted. That measure concerns all domestic employees. Employers are called upon to require that document before being hired. Note that 29 are from Gitega, 22 from Karusi, 6 from Kayanza, 3 from Mwaro and 1 from Muramvya and another one from Ngozi.
