RUTANA March 10th (ABP) – The purchase of agricultural production outside known markets is now prohibited in Rutana province, said the governor of that province, Mr. Olivier Nibitanga, during a visit he made on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 in Nyembuye village of the Muzye zone in Giharo commune.

On the same occasion, Governor Nibitanga prohibited traders from buying goods before they reached the market while wanting to bring them there themselves at high prices.

Among the problems that the people of the Muzye zone presented to the governor, it is worth noting the difficulty of obtaining the birth certificate for repatriated children who were born in exile. This causes them trouble when issuing certificates or diplomas after high school, a returnee said.

Mr. Nibitanga pointed out that those documents should be granted without any problem and called on education officials at the level of schools and communal management to look into that issue so that applicants receive those documents without having missed any course.

Regarding people who organize themselves in unproductive gatherings called “ligalas”, Governor Nibitanga said that those who are apprehended will be assigned for community development work.

Note that Mr. Nibitanga recommended that the members of the joint security committees be active and vigilant in order to be able to tighten security.
