Torrential rain mixed strong wind has left three people dead and one injured

BUBANZA March 10^th (ABP) – Three people died and another was injured in Gifugwe village of Mpanda commune (north-west of Burundi), following heavy torrential rain mixed with strong wind, which fell in Bubanza province at the night of March 8, 2023, according to local administrative sources. The missing victims were from the same family, that is, the father, the mother and their child. They were sleeping overnight when torrential rain mixed with strong wind knocked their home down. The three victims passed away on the site, while only one child was able to escape. It was a total desolation in that family and in the neighborhood, the same information source specified. The communal administration is at work for the dignified burial of the victims.
