MAKAMBA March 3rd (ABP) – The governor of Makamba (south), Mrs. Françoise Ngozirazana, brought together, on Wednesday March 1, 2023, the magistrates of that province to adopt strategies to better serve the people, a check by ABP revealed.
They agreed to improve communication, especially for matters of public interest. In the case of land disputes in the Mwimbiro village, Muyange zone of the Nyanza-Lac commune, the land will have to be recovered by the provincial office of the environment, agriculture and livestock. Those magistrates have also agreed to organize trips to popularize the codes and laws in force in Burundi. In addition, to make it easier for plaintiffs to pay court costs, legal professionals have proposed that the OBR open accounts in micro-finance institutions to facilitate plaintiffs in communes that do not have banks. The governor has promised to forward that complaint to whom it may concern for decision-making. Regarding the campaign for the execution of judgments, those justice professionals will have to do everything possible to ensure that those executions are completely emptied. Finally, they will have to improve the reception of the people requesting service in different courts.
