MAKAMBA Februarys 21st (ABP) – The governor of Makamba province, Mrs. Françoise Ngozirazana indicated on Saturday February 18, 2023, during the ceremonies for exchanging wishes for the year 2023 amongst natives, provincial and communal executives as well as the inhabitants of Makamba, that the provincial administration will draw up a master plan for the urbanization of the provincial capital and other urban centers, a check by ABP revealed.
In her speech, Mrs. Ngozirazana pointed out that the provincial administration will organize a cultural day to awaken talents and stimulate tourism. It is in that context that she asked the natives of Makamba province to join forces to build model hotels, restaurants and bars to prepare to be the headquarters of the southern region.
With regard to the achievements of the past year, she said that the administrative authorities have carried out trips to provide solutions to the grievances of the people. They also built public infrastructure, she added. She ended her remarks by thanking anyone who continues to contribute to the construction of the six-floor provincial office.
During those ceremonies of exchange of wishes, the Secretary General of the CNDD-FDD party, also called the elder of development in that province, Mr. Révérien Ndikuriyo, indicated that the development of the country is observed from the family autonomy. He took the opportunity to invite the people of that locality to work hard so that their families are developed and to stop discouraging entrepreneurs from development projects.
The other natives who took part in those ceremonies asked the administrative officials to approach the government to rehabilitate the provincial roads in order to facilitate the movement of goods.
