BUJUMBURA January 11th (ABP) – Patners Trust International Church (PTI-Church), distributed on Monday, January 9, 2023, medical equipment worth $900,000 to some hospitals. It is with the aim of enabling the poor inhabitants of Burundi and the sub-region to benefit from health care by networking hospitals and clinics, thus reducing cases of transfer abroad and thereby increasing the purchasing power of the beneficiaries, with a view to the sustainability of the project, a check by ABP revealed.

The legal representative of PTI-Church, Mr. Jean de Dieu Bizimana, said that this donation comes from an NGO “World Help”. He stressed that this material is the one that different hospitals use every day, in particular incubators, delivery beds and masks.

The beneficiaries are the clinics, hospitals and health centers which place particular emphasis on the vulnerable who do not have the means to pay for various services, in particular radiography or another expensive service, despite the fact that they are sick.

He added that their vision is to create a network of actors in the field of health where they could even have specializations and give their contribution so that Burundians can have access to a quality health service.

Thus, Mr. Bizimana called on the entire Burundian population to work for the good of humanity, given that we have a message, a gospel that is addressed to all people and in their entirety.
