The first vice president of the Burundian senate has made trip to Nyabihanga commune

MWARO January 9th (ABP) – The first vice president of the Burundian senate Denise Ndadaye joined, on January 6, 2023, the people of Musongati village, Kibungere zone of Nyabihanga commune in Mwaro province, in public interest works consisting of transporting bricks used for the rehabilitation of the classrooms of Burarana basic school. Mrs. Denise Ndadaye took the opportunity to donate 20 reams of paper to the communal education directorate of Nyabihanga as support for the proper preparation of the national competitions. Denise Ndadaye called on the learners to have visions in their training courses so that the Nyabihanga commune continues to have worthy intellectuals, that is, intellectuals who can contribute to the development of the country and their commune in particular.

With the aim of strengthening the justice sector and reducing various social conflicts, Denise Ndadaye held a meeting in the headquarters of Nyabihanga commune, at the location of recently elected village leaders and village notables. She discussed the situation and the functioning of the new institution. In addition, she discussed the collaboration between the two bodies. Denise Ndadaye said that without justice, there is no development.

People often go to court instead of going to work. Justice is the source of development. She stressed that the institution of village notables is one of the institutions that make up the justice sector. Starting with the law on the elections of village notables, Denise Ndadaye recalled their role. She called on them to work for the interest of the people. It should be noted that Denise Ndadaye was accompanied by the governor of Mwaro province, Col. Gaspard Gasanzwe and the administrator of Nyabihanga commune, Gérard Nizigiyimana.
