BUJUMBURA September 9th (ABP) – The Burundi Head of State, Evariste Ndayishimiye received in audience, on Thursday, September 9, 2022 at Ntare House, the economic operator of Chinese origin, John Paradza, director of the mining company called “Kunyu Mining”.
At the end of the hearing, the president’s spokesman, Alain Diomède Nzeyimana indicated that this company is based in Zimbabwe and has already opened other subsidiaries in Tanzania, precisely in the province of Kahama.
John Paradza said that the company “Kunyu mining” produces a large amount of gold industrially.
In Burundi, representatives of that company have already visited sites where gold is found, particularly in Muyinga, where they say there is enough gold to be exploited industrially.
Economic operator John Paradza announced that what will follow is the organization of meetings with Burundian organizations in charge of the country’s development to see how to implement that gold mining project in Burundi.
