BUJUMBURA August 9th (ABP) – Some 196 political mobilizers of the National Council for the Defense of Democracy-Forces for the Defense of Democracy (CNDD-FDD) party from the western region of Burundi obtained, on Friday August 5, in Bujumbura, the certificates sanctioning the end of the sixth day of training on the mobilization of the ideology and ethics of the said party.
The certificate presentation ceremonies were graced by the secretary general of the CNDD-FDD party, Mr. Réverien Ndikuriyo, the national secretary in charge of communication within the said party, Mrs. Nancy Ninette Mutoni and the provincial secretaries of the CNDD-FDD party of Rumonge, Bujumbura and Bujumbura Mairie.
In his circumstantial speech, the secretary general of the CNDD-FDD party indicated that these mobilizers will have the mission of training members and non-members on the political ideology of the CNDD-FDD party up to the level of the village.
For the smooth running of these activities, he asked them to be exemplary and to be good trainers. “You cannot teach party ideology to people who point fingers at you. A good leader cares about the grievances of the people and must provide appropriate solutions”, he illustrated.
The certificates obtained were of category B and C. Those who will be trained from village level to provincial level will obtain category D, said Mr. Ndikuriyo. Remember that each commune will have 12 political mobilizers, said Mr. Ndikuriyo.
