According to the chairperson of the Good Action Umugiraneza Foundation, that infrastructure was erected with a view to supporting the Burundian government in its noble mission of promoting the health of the population. She called on the population to be treated in this polyclinic because according to her, each service has doctors specialized in the above-mentioned fields as well as adapted devices. However, she pointed out that the services will not be free as before.

Mrs. Angeline Ndayishimiye recalled that this polyclinic has already operated on 47 patients suffering from cataracts, adding that among them, 46 were cured and one had already reached a stage which is difficult to treat. She has indeed reported that soon this polyclinic intends to relaunch this campaign to treat 500 people with that disease.

Based on that, the 1st Lady of Burundi congratulated all those who supported in the implementation of this project. She particularly thanked the President of the Republic Mr. Evariste Ndayishimiye for several advices given to her since the planning of this project. The 1st Lady revealed that it was the President who gave her the plan of this building.

Speaking, the President of the Republic fully congratulated the Good Action Umugiraneza Foundation for its works through which it has already shown its good will to save lives and particularly those of the vulnerable. He encouraged her to go forward in her noble mission.
