103 patients have been assisted in Muramvya province as part of local solidarity

MURAMVYA August 3rd (ABP) – The provincial committee led by the governor of Muramvya province, Mr. Diomède Nzambimana, paid a visit on Monday to the he district hospitals of Muramvya and Kiganda as well as the community mother-child health hospital of Giko in Bukeye commune, with the aim of ensuring food and non-food assistance for vulnerable hospitalized patients and at the same time paying the bills of people in convalescence, who have not been able to pay the costs of hospitalization.

Envelopes containing more than 7,400,000 BIF were given to the three hospitals to bring in vulnerable people who were cured after their hospitalization.

In the same context, 50 vulnerable hospitalized people received beans, flour, sugar and clothing.

In his speech of thanks, the provincial medical director of the health office, Dr. Polycarpe Ndayikeza, warmly welcomed this humanitarian gesture made by the provincial committee for local solidarity.

As for the governor of the province Muramvya who is the leader of that committee, he mobilized the population of the province in general to combine their efforts to collect the means intended for local solidarity this year in favor of the vulnerable. He took this opportunity to ask natives living in the country and abroad to also think about supporting rights holders who do not have the means.
