KIRUNDO July 4th (ABP) – As part of supporting the poor, the ministry in charge of solidarity officially launched on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at the headquarters of the Kirundo commune, the distribution of iron sheets to the people poorer than the others, a check on the site by ABP revealed.
According to the representative of the ministry in charge of solidarity, Mr. Pierre Ngabonziza, 20 iron sheets are provided for each household and 1308 iron sheets are granted to the Kirundo province as part of improving the living conditions of the people of Burundi.
The governor’s chief of staff Eric Nduwayezu commended that initiative of the ministry in charge of solidarity; it shows that the government of Burundi has the will to ensure the well-being of the people of Burundi in general and those of the Kirundo province in particular, he stressed.
