KAYANZA June 15th (ABP) – Police operating in Kabarore commune of Kayanza province (north) seized the night from Friday June 10 to Saturday, on Manga hill in Jene zone, two bags containing 50 kg of coffee parchment.

The owners of that coffee fled to Rwanda. At Gashiru village in the Rugazi zone bordering Rwanda, the police saw three people carrying luggage. As two of them had already left Burundian soil, the police tried to seize the one who was already on Burundian soil, but in vain.

According to the communal police commissioner in Kabarore, that person, who quickly threw down his luggage, was carrying a bar of thrift stores. However, both administrative and police authorities in Kabarore continue to warn anyone who still practices fraud. They invite the people once again to denounce anyone involved in this despicable act.
