MAKAMBA June 6th (ABP) – The Head of State, Mr. Evariste Ndayishimiye, met, on Friday June 3, 2022, in Makamba, with the administrative staff, the natives and the people of that locality, for a session of moralization centered on patriotism, good governance and development, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.
In his welcoming address, the provincial governor, Mrs. Françoise Ngozirazana, indicated that peace and security are in good shape. The people are at work in the development work. It asks the government to develop and/or rehabilitate the marshes in the province to increase production.
The President of the Republic invited the people to strengthen peace and security in order to go about development work, while specifying that it is unity that contributes to the development of the country. Mr. Ndayishimiye advised the people of Makamba to join cooperatives to accelerate their development. To the administrators, he called on them to be good examples, citing that “a leader is the mirror of the population he is called upon to serve”.
The Head of State also advised the religious leaders to break with the fights in the churches, rather to challenge their faithful to form themselves in the cooperatives for their self-financing, explaining that it is necessary to come together to create opportunities can increase production. Participants in this session who spoke returned to land and social justice issues, asking for justice to be done.
Mr. Ndayishimiye also promised that he will ask the leaders of the youth and women’s banks, ANACOOP and PAEEJ, to organize sessions to analyze the files of loan applicants in Makamba province.
