MUYINGA April 7th (ABP) – More than 50 liters of Kanyanga drink were seized too early on Tuesday morning in Mageni village, Muyinga commune and province (north-eastern Burundi), by the communal administrator, Amédée Misago, supported by the police. That prohibited and highly alcoholic drink would have been brought from Tanzania by three traffickers residing in Mageni and on whom the administration could not get them caught.

Administrator Misago regrets any collaboration between those traffickers and certain administrative officials such as the leaders of ten houses (Nyumbakumi) and the unit leaders. He urges the latter to pull themselves together and those who have remained loyal to be vigilant in the fight against that prohibited drink which harms the lives of consumers.
