KIRUNDO March 29th (ABP) – The Prime Minister of Burundi Mr. Alain Guillaume Bunyoni in the company of his wife, joined on Sunday March 27, 2022, in the headquarters of Kirundo province (north of Burundi), the Christians of the Living Church of Jesus Christ, to celebrate Sunday worship, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.

Through his preaching, Prime Minister Bunyoni indicated that a self-respecting man does not practice concubinage. He pointed out that this practice is observed in certain men who acquire wealth. He specified that this despicable behavior is commonly observed in certain localities such as Gihanga in Bubanza where a lot of rice is harvested and in Kirundo, a province known as a producer of beans served in almost the whole country.

He recalled that cohabitation leads to economic decadence in households. Moreover, he based himself on the Gospel of Saint John 1:5-10, in which we find an important message that says that “if we say that we have no sin, we make God a liar and his word is not in us”.

Mr. Bunyoni asked everyone to confess to Almighty God and he can trust him because he acts in a righteous way, he insisted. In addition, he took the opportunity to ask the authorities of Kirundo province to always speak God in the service and that this can help them to walk in the light.

The governor of Kirundo province Mr. Albert Hatungimana, in his welcoming remarks, appreciated the reassuring messages that the prime minister often delivers through the word of God and through the various media. He added that his preaching helps change the behavior of many people.

The person in charge of the Living Church of Jesus Christ in the northern region Pastor Emile Bigirindavyi, meanwhile, addressed his deep thanks to the Prime Minister who thought of being together with the Christians of the Living Church of Kirundo, and said that it is an honor for them, from where he prayed for his family.
