In his address of greeting to the Christians of the Gasenyi parish, Mr. Ndayishimiye warmly thanked the Christians for the way they obey their leaders and the way they never stop praying for the Burundian Head of State.

He thus recommended them to pray for those who led the country in the past, who unfortunately did not concern themselves with the population which, consequently, led the country to the abyss.

He asked the people of Rango to do battle with the unhappy past that characterized the country and to build a new Burundi to avoid being entangled by the unhappy past that Burundi has known.

There, Mr. Ndayishimiye praised their courage by indicating that they kept the promise of the fact that they had agreed to return because, according to him, no Burundian should be called a refugee in his own country.

As a thank you, the natives of Rango commune gave the President of the Republic two heifers, it is reported.
