Worth fifteen million francs drunk, said the representative of Memisa Belgium, Dr. Édouard Nkurunziza, these drugs provide support to the aforementioned hospital in the care of prisoners who have been injured or burned, during the fire in Gitega detention house on December 7, 2021. As for the mattresses, he said that they numbered fifty-five and were worth nearly 14 million francs drunk. They are intended for the eleven communal hospitals in the health province of Gitega, at the rate of five mattresses per hospital, he added before specifying that the latter meet hospital standards.

Chief of Staff Nibigira expressed his heartfelt thanks to the NGOs in question before asking them to continue this momentum. To the institutions receiving donations, he asked to use them only for their purposes.
