2000 Cassia siamea trees have been planted in Makamba commune

MAKAMBA December 6th (ABP) – The governor of Makamba province (southern Burundi), Mrs. Françoise Ngozirazana joined on Thursday, December 2, 2021, with the population of Rimbo village, Mukungu area of Makamba commune in the activities of planting 2,000 Cassia siamea plants along the Nyengwe river, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.

In her speech, Mrs. Ngozirazana indicated that she is opening the silvicultural year in the province of Makamba.

She asked parents to endorse the program of the Ewe Burundi Urambaye government by sensitizing their children to take more care of the environment. Each household is called upon to plant trees on its property.
