Meeting of the provincial governor with the heads of departments and representatives of NGOs working in Cibitoke

CIBITOKE November 4th (ABP) – The governor of Cibitoke province (north-west of Burundi), OPC1 Carème Bizoza, met on Tuesday, November 2, in the provincial headquarters, heads of decentralized services and representatives of services operating in Cibitoke.

Four points were on the menu of the meeting, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.

The first point concerned the implementation of ministerial correspondence N ° 530/9832 / CAB / 2021 of September 28, 2021 requiring governors to suspend from their functions those responsible who are in an illegal union or cohabitation situation. The second point invited the heads of departments and heads of NGOs to contribute to the eradication of domestic work by children under 16, at home and in their entourage. In 3rd place, it was a question of urging representatives of NGOs to participate in community development work and celebrations of national events organized in the province. In fourth position, Governor Bizoza called on NGOs to copy his cabinet from their reports of activities carried out in his province.

Governor Bizoza also provided advice to participants on how to avoid wasting resources during the end-of-year celebrations.

It should be noted that at the end of the meeting, members of the commission for the recruitment of new police officers communicated to the participants the requirements to be enlisted as an officer, brigadier or agent in his original entity.
