GITEGA September 30th (ABP) – The Head of State of Burundi, Evariste Ndayishimiye, chaired the Cabinet meeting at the presidential palace of Gitega on Wednesday with eight items on the agenda, including the draft deviation agreement of National Road number 1 (RN1) between the Republic of Burundi and the People’s Republic of China.
Other points relate in particular to the draft annual government action plan 2021-2022 and the draft decree on the missions, organization and functioning of the Burundi Development Agency.
The 4th point concerns the bill ratifying the cooperation agreement for the execution of the project for the management of water resources in Burundi between the government of the Republic of Burundi and that of the Arab Republic of Egypt signed on 24 March 2021 in Cairo, Egypt. The 5th point is the bill ratifying the agreement on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic, special and service passports between the government of the Republic of Burundi and the government of the Arab Republic of Egypt. signed on March 24, 2021. The 7th point concerns the draft decree allocating land to the University of Mwaro.
