BUJUMBURA August 9th (ABP) – The Community of Rock Churches in Burundi organized an evangelistic crusade at its headquarters on Friday in order to prepare the way of the Lord, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.
Pastor Ferdinand Nduwimana said the crusade was organized to touch the trance of the people who have not yet received the Lord.
Regarding the organization of that crusade, he reported that it started on Friday with songs that glorify the name of the Lord, and the second day will be devoted to teachings for the youth to prepare them to use their potentials and contribute to spiritual, economic and human development so that their future is better.
Pastor Nduwimana did not forget to point out that lessons have been prepared for the leaders because, he explained: “they are the ones who make decisions, without them nothing goes on.”
That leader in charge of the community of the rock churches invited everyone to join that crusade to receive the divine word together.
The Speaker of the National Assembly, Mr Daniel Gélase Ndabirabe, who was invited to that crusade, returned to the theme of the crusade, that of preparing the way of the Lord. He appealed to the Christians present to be the light of others and to prepare for a good future. He asked them to link word to action and convert to Jesus Christ while wishing them the divine peace that is important in life.
Among the guests, Pastor Marc Kagisye of the Church Life Center, after praying for the new converts, gave teachings. He made it known that our God is not only interested in actions but also looks at our hearts.
