The draft fair wage policy in the Burundian public sector was one of the items on the agenda of the Cabinet meeting

GITEGA July 8th (ABP) – The Burundi Head of State, Mr. Evariste Ndayishimiye, presided over the Cabinet meeting on July 7, 2021 in his palace in Gitega (central Burundi), the political capital of the country. Ten points were on the agenda of the said Cabinet meeting, according to a note from the General Secretariat of the Government delivered to the media.

The first point presented by the Minister of Affairs of the East African Community, Youth, Sports and Culture, related to the sectoral strategy of that ministry, while the second point developed by the services of the Prime Minister concerned the draft decree relating to the internal regulations of the government of the Republic of Burundi. In turn, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation presented the third and fourth points corresponding respectively to the bill on the organization of the diplomatic service of the Republic of Burundi and to the sectoral policy of that ministry.

As for the Minister of Public Service, Labor and Employment, his communication related to the draft fair wage policy in the Burundian public sector. The sixth point in relation to a note relating to the problem of liquidation of the companies managing washing stations (SOGESTAL) and the Coffee pulping and packaging company (SODECO) was presented by the Minister of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning.

The last three points, namely the draft ministerial order establishing a field artillery specialization school, the draft ministerial order establishing a marine specialization school and the bill on creation of an aviation specialization school were presented by the Minister of National Defense and Veterans Affairs.

In the various events, the Minister of National Education and Scientific Research presented a note on the organization of the state examination, 2021 edition.
